If you're a Office 365 Enterprise user, you can chat with colleagues in Outlook on the web using Microsoft Teams .
Notes:

You will not be able to use the feature if you are not enabled for Microsoft Teams or Teams features in Outlook Web.

Skype in OWA is no longer available, but you can still chat in Outlook using Teams.

In Outlook on the web, at the top of the page, select the chat icon. A blue badge on the icon if you have any unread conversations.

If you click on the chat icon, it will open the embedded Teams chat module where a list of read and unread chats will be displayed.

Once you click on a chat, a flyout chat will be shown at the bottom of Outlook web. You can minimize it or close it at any time.

You can also start a conversation by clicking on the new chat icon in the module.

Currently, Teams chat in Outlook web is supported in all browsers except Mac Safari.

You would need to allow specific sites access to 3P Cookies to enable the feature.
