Use text effects such as outline and shadow

Text effects, such as outline and shadow, aren't available in PowerPoint for the web. However, you can add text effects by using the PowerPoint desktop app. At the upper right corner of the PowerPoint window, select Editing, then choose Open in Desktop. Need the PowerPoint desktop app? Learn about how to buy and install it.
