PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 and PowerPoint for the web now offer captions or subtitles shown live on the big screen as you present to your audience:
You need to use PowerPoint for the web or an Microsoft 365 subscription version of PowerPoint in order to have this new feature. It isn't available in PowerPoint 2019, 2016, or older versions.
