If you bought Microsoft 365 at a store, you may have received a product key. Here's how to redeem it.

Go to Microsoft365.com/setup.

Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create one if you don't have one. Be sure to remember this account so that you can install or reinstall Microsoft 365Â later, without a product key.
Important:Â If you're renewing an Microsoft 365, enter the Microsoft account that's associated with your subscription. I can't remember my Microsoft account.

Enter your Microsoft 365 product key, without hyphens.

Follow the prompts to finish the redemption process.
Note:Â If your work or school gave you Microsoft 365, you won't need to redeem a product key. Your admin did it for you.
