We know you get a lot of emails. We've designed something to make handling your daily life a bit easier.
Outlook has added handy summaries to some of your most important emails. Have a flight confirmation email in your Outlook inbox? The airplane icon you see on that message shows that when you tap on this email, a summary will be shown at the top with all of the most important information displayed.
Getting a package? You'll be able to see the tracking details instantly.
Your entire trip schedule, even with multiple legs and stays? Summarized for you with some nice design.
Note: Right now only certain airlines and service providers' emails are able to be displayed in this manner. For flights, Outlook can intelligently display emails from American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, United Airways, Delta, Expedia, Southwest, Travelocity, Concur, Spirit, Air Canada, Allegiant Air, Edreams, Fly Frontier, Hawaiian Airline, Hotwire, JetBlue, Priceline, and Virgin America.
For packages, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Target and Apple emails will feature your delivery details prominently.
Hotel stay coming up? Airbnb, Choice Hotel, Concur Hotel, Expedia, Extended Stay America, Hilton, Hotwire, IHG, Marriott, Starwood, and Travelocity are included.
We've even covered your rental car, if it's from Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Car Rentals, Concur, Dollar, Enterprise, Expedia, Fox Rent a Car, Hertz, Hotwire, National Car, Rental Cars, Thrifty, Travelocity, or Zipcar.
Don't worry; if the provider isn't on the list, you'll still be receiving these emails as normal. You'll just have to read that email like you always did until we include them. Don't despair, though; We're working towards including more and more providers so nobody feels left out.
