Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Office Project Connector in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

You install Microsoft Office Project Connector.

Then, you install the Microsoft Office Project Connector Toolbar add-in for Microsoft Dynamics SL.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
Unable to satisfy all prerequisites for Microsoft Dynamics SL Project Connector Add-on. Setup cannot continue until al system components have been successfully installed.
Prerequisite check for system component .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 failed with the following error message:"Administrator permissions are required to install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Contact your administrator."
Symptoms
This problem occurs because the user who is logged in to the workstation does not have Administrator rights to that workstation.
Cause
To resolve this issue, add the user to the Administrators group on the workstation. To do this, follow these steps:

Right-click Computer.

Click Manage.

Expand Local Users and Groups.

Click Groups.
-
Click Administrators.
-
Add the user to this group.
Notes

As soon as the Microsoft Office Project Connector Toolbar is installed successfully, you can remove the user from the Administrators group.

In a terminal server environment, only the first user to install the Microsoft Project Connector Toolbar has to be an administrator. Later users can add the toolbar without needing administrative permissions.
