All you need to join a Teams meeting is a link. Select Join the meeting now in your meeting invite to be taken to a page where you can choose to either join on the web or download the desktop app. If you already have the Teams app, the meeting will open there automatically.

Meeting options in Microsoft Teams. Meeting options are a group of settings that enable, limit, or turn off certain capabilities during a meeting. Organizers can change meeting options to affect how participants engage and interact during a meeting.

Standard channels are available to all team members in Teams. Most channels are standard channels. If you need a smaller, specific audience for a particular subject, you can use a private channel. Shared channels are for collaborating with people inside and outside your team or organization.

Create and manage custom tags in Teams. Select Teams on the left side of the app and select the team you want to create tags for in the list. Then select More options and choose Manage tags . Create a tag by naming your tag, adding a helpful description, and assigning people on your team.
