Sign in to Hotmail or Outlook.com. To sign in to Outlook.com or Hotmail, you'll need your Microsoft Account username and password. Sign-in. Note: Check the Don't show this again box if you want to go straight to Outlook.com next time (not recommended for shared computers).

See more email options. Right-click folders in the Folder Pane to see common organization actions. Right-click an email in the Message List to show more message options. Right-click the Reading Pane for additional email commands such as translation.

Select Account Settings. Select the type of information you want to change. Account Settings allows you to add or remove accounts, change server settings, and more. Account Name and Sync Settings lets you update the friendly name for the account and decide how many days' worth of email you'd like to synchronize.

Record game clips and take screenshots. While you’re playing a game, press the Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar. Choose Widget Menu > Capture. Choose Start recording, Take screenshot, or Record last…. Record last… turns the most recent moments of play into a game clip when background recording is turned on.

Under Message organization, choose either of the options depending on whether you want to show email grouped by conversation or as individual message. If you select Show email grouped by conversation, under Arrange the reading pane, select either of the options:

Use an add-in while composing a message. Create a new message or reply to an existing one. From the ribbon, select the Message tab, then choose the add-in you want to use. If the add-in doesn’t appear in the ribbon, select Apps to view your installed add-ins.
