If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.

Adjust ActiveX settings in Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer might not be set up to download or run ActiveX controls for security reasons. Changing some advanced security settings will let you download, install, or run the control, but your PC might be more vulnerable to security threats.

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select Device Manager from the menu.

When your camera isn't working in Windows 11, it might be missing drivers after a recent update. It's also possible that your antivirus program is blocking the camera, your privacy settings don't allow camera access for some apps, or there's a problem with the app you want to use.

To open up your webcam or camera, select the Start button, then select All apps, and then select Camera in the list of apps. If you have multiple cameras, you can switch between them by selecting Change Camera at the top right once the Camera app is opened. Open Camera.

Enable a camera. You can see the cameras that are connected to your device and change the default settings for those cameras (such as brightness, contrast, and more). With administrator access, you can also disable and enable cameras for the device.

Add-ons can sometimes cause browsers to run slowly and crash, or they might pose a security or compatibility risk. You can turn off specific add-ons to help increase your browsing speed, or if you suspect they're causing problems for Internet Explorer.
