Never click any links or attachments in suspicious emails or Teams messages. If you receive a suspicious message from an organization and worry the message could be legitimate, go to your web browser and open a new tab. Then go to the organization's website from your own saved favorite, or via a web search.

On your PC, in the Phone Link, select Messages. To start a new conversation, select New message. Enter the name or phone number of a contact. Select the person you want to send a message to. A new message thread opens for you to begin with.

Get Microsoft account help. Manage your personal account from a single dashboard, including payment information, purchases, subscriptions, and more. Go to your dashboard. You can use a Microsoft account, or a work or school account to sign into your Windows device.

Help Microsoft stop scammers, whether they claim to be from Microsoft or not, by reporting tech support scams at: www.microsoft.com/reportascam. You can also report unsafe websites in Microsoft Edge by selecting Settings and More > Help and Feedback > Report unsafe site when you encounter something suspicious.

Windows Photo Viewer isn't part of Windows 10, but if you upgraded from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you might still have it. To check, press and hold (or right-click) a photo in File Explorer, and select Open with. If Windows Photo Viewer isn't in the list, you cannot install it on Windows 10.
