Chat with a bot in a channel or group chat. Bots can contribute to channel and group chat conversations, such as providing important updates or helping a team organize its work. Typically, you or someone else @mentions a bot to interact with it, but some bots can play a more proactive role in conversations.

Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint. Block or remove a bot in Microsoft Teams To stop a bot from participating in a one-on-one chat, first find the chat name in your chat list, then click More options > Mute . If you want to remove a bot entirely from a channel, find the channel name, then click More options > Manage team .

To check for updates, select Start > Settings > Windows Update , then select Check for updates. If updates are available, you can choose to install them. Check for updates. With Poll, you can get constructive feedback on questions by creating a real-time poll right from a chat or channel in Teams. Create a poll. To create a poll, click Menu (…) below the box where you type your message. If Poll isn’t in the Suggestions section, search for it in the Find an app search bar or select More apps to find it in the Apps directory.

This article applies if you’ve recently made changes to your device hardware and are trying to upgrade to Windows 11. Hardware changes might affect your upgrade eligibility, though you’ll need to take a few steps to see your updated eligibility in Settings.

People notifications. Keep track of the status of your colleagues and contacts, and get notified when they appear available or offline. Select Manage notifications, then enter the name or names of the contacts you want to keep track of. Select the correct contact (s) from the list. You'll see those contacts appear below the text box.
