If you pre-ordered a game and want to cancel, you can do so up to 10 days before the game launches at: Order history. The Microsoft Authenticator app helps you sign into your accounts when you're using two-step verification.

Signing in with a passkey is simple, fast, and helps protect you against phishing attacks. Passkeys are supported on desktop and mobile browsers (mobile app support is coming soon). You can use Windows Hello on Windows 10/11 devices to sign into your account with a passkey.

If you get an email about unusual activity on your Microsoft account, or if you’re worried that someone else might have used your account, go to the Recent activity page. You’ll see when your Microsoft account was signed in during the last 30 days, along with any device or app-specific info.

Digital products that can be sent as a gift include the Buy as gift option. It’s not a downloadable product. Some games are still sold as a packaged item we physically ship to you. Check whether there’s a downloadable version of the game available in the Microsoft Store.

If you want to stop a file or folder from syncing or backing up, you can pause the upload or download. See Stop syncing temporarily below for details. If uploads or downloads with the OneDrive website are taking too long, or you selected the wrong files, they can be cancelled.

You can use a voice typing language that's different than the one you've chosen for Windows. Here's how: Search for the language you'd like to install, then select. or install any optional language features you'd like to use. These features, including speech recognition, aren't required for voice typing to work.
