Note: If you don’t want to start your Surface from your USB drive, make sure the drive isn't inserted in the USB port on your Surface when you start it.

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select Device Manager from the menu.

Right-click the app, select More, and then select Open file location.This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved. If there isn't an option for Open file location, it means the app can't run at startup.
