Excel is blocking untrusted XLL add-ins by default. Add-ins can add a lot of functionality to Microsoft 365, but they are often used by people with bad intentions to distribute malware to unsuspecting victims. Add-ins aren't required for everyday use like reading or editing Excel workbooks.

For guidance on how to locate the Apps button to access add-ins while reading or composing a mail item, see Use an add-in in Outlook. In the Apps page, search for the add-in you want from the available list. Alternatively, if you're after a specific add-in, enter its name in the search box.

SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

If you set up your list source as an Excel table, then all you need to do is add or remove items from the list, and Excel will automatically update any associated drop-downs for you. To add an item, go to the end of the list and type the new item. To remove an item, press Delete.

Your Hotmail or Outlook.com password is the same as your Microsoft Account password. If you can you sign in but are having problems with Outlook.com, check the service status. If the status isn't green, wait until the service is running normally and try again.

Follow these steps: If the worksheet is protected, do the following: On the Review tab, select Unprotect Sheet (in the Protect group). Select Protect Sheet to change to Unprotect Sheet when a worksheet is protected. If prompted, enter the password to unprotect the worksheet.

Open Microsoft Edge and select Settings and more . Select Favorites . In the Favorites window, select More options , and then select Import favorites. In the Import from menu, choose whether you want to import your favorites from Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.

Splits text strings by using column and row delimiters. The TEXTSPLIT function works the same as the Text-to-Columns wizard, but in formula form. It allows you to split across columns or down by rows. It is the inverse of the TEXTJOIN function .
