Cast to a display from a Windows PC. You can wirelessly connect your PC to a TV, projector, or other kind of external display that supports Miracast. Turn on your TV, projector, or other display. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display.

Step 1: Verify your identity. You can request a password reset directly from your console if you have access to the phone number or alternate email that you previously provided. On the console Sign in screen, type in your email address, and then select the I forgot my password button.

Codec packs add additional codec support to Windows. Apps like Media Player will then be able to play media files encoded in these formats. The following codecs packs are available: MPEG-2 Video Extension. Adds support for the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video formats. HEVC Video Extension.

Open Snipping Tool. There are four ways to open Snipping Tool: Select the Start button, enter snipping tool, then select Snipping Tool from the results. Press Windows logo key + Shift + S for a static image snip. Press Print Screen (PrtSc) for a static image snip. Press Windows logo key + Shift + R for a video snip.
