You can customize your mouse in a variety of ways in Windows. For instance, you can swap the functions of your mouse buttons, make the mouse pointer more visible, and alter the scroll speed of the mouse wheel.

Make your mouse more visible by changing the color and size of the mouse pointer. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accessibility > Mouse pointer & touch, and choose the options that work best for you. By adding pointer trails you can see where the mouse is moving on the screen.

You can use these options to make the mouse pointer larger, or change the color to make it easier to see. Turn on Mouse Keys. You can use this option to control the movement of the mouse pointer by using the numeric keypad. Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse.

Windows 11 lets you change the thickness of the text cursor and add a colorful indicator to make it more visible. Change the text cursor thickness. To go to the Accessibility settings on your computer, press the Windows logo key+U or select Start > Settings > Accessibility . Select Text cursor.

Turn on Magnifier. This option sets Magnifier to run when you log on to your computer. Magnifier enlarges the part of the screen where the mouse is pointing and can be especially useful for viewing objects that are difficult to see. Adjust the color and transparency of the window borders.

Open the on-screen touchpad. Use the on-screen touchpad to control the mouse pointer with your touchscreen. Press and hold (or right-click) the taskbar, and then select Taskbar settings. Under Taskbar corner icons, set Virtual touchpad to On. Select the touchpad button on the taskbar.

With the Magnifier window open, click and hold the Magnify button and then rotate the mouse wheel away from you (forward) to increase magnification, toward you (backward) to decrease magnification.
