Resolves vulnerabilities in Windows Task Scheduler that could allow elevation of privilege if an attacker logged on to an affected system and ran a specially crafted application. An attacker must have valid logon credentials and be able to log on locally to exploit this vulnerability.

Cause. This issue occurs because Task Scheduler does not handle the random delayed tasks correctly when Task Scheduler evaluates jobs that should be started within a time period. This behavior causes some tasks that are not randomly delayed tasks not to run at the specified time.

You create a task and specify multiple triggers for the task in the Task Scheduler Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. The triggers cause the task to run according to a schedule. In this scenario, the Next Run Time of the task always displays the time that is specified by the first trigger.
