If your purchase of Office or Microsoft 365 came with a product key, you enter your product key on one of the websites listed below for your product. Enabling virtualization gives you access to a larger library of apps to use and install on your device. If you upgraded your device from Windows 10 to Windows 11, these steps help you enable virtualization.

Cast to an external display from your Windows PC. You can wirelessly connect your PC to a TV, projector, or other kind of external display that supports Miracast. Turn on your TV, projector, or other display. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display.

Go to the Advanced security options of your Microsoft account dashboard and scroll down to the App passwords section. Create password. Enter this app password where you would enter your normal Microsoft account password in the application.

Before you begin, make sure your PC or Mac meets the system requirements. If you already redeemed a product key, you're simply reinstalling the apps, or you know you have an assigned license through work or school, you can skip ahead and go to the section sign in to download and install Microsoft 365 or Office.

You can link your social media account in one of two ways: Use the Xbox mobile app to scan the QR code. Select the Link option which will launch the Microsoft Edge app on Xbox. You can choose to link your Discord, Reddit, Steam, Twitch, or other social media account.

In Microsoft Edge, select Extensions, located to the right of your browser address bar. Note: If you don't see Extensions to the right of your browser address bar, select Settings and more > Extensions. Select Get Extensions for Microsoft Edge. Find the extension you'd like to add and select Get.
