There are different ways to remove apps and programs, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can try another location. Note that some apps and programs are built into Windows and can't be uninstalled. You can try to repair a program first, if it's just not running correctly.

Set apps to run automatically when you start your device. Windows 11. You can choose which apps will start when you log in to your Windows device. The apps might show in your taskbar or elsewhere—or the apps might start behind the scenes.

Open Device Manager. In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select Device Manager from the menu.

Manage website notifications in Microsoft Edge. Website notifications appear in the lower right corner of your screen and are also displayed in the Notification Center. When notifications are turned on for a website, they will still appear even if Microsoft Edge is closed.

When your camera isn't working in Windows 11, it might be missing drivers after a recent update. It's also possible that your antivirus program is blocking the camera, your privacy settings don't allow camera access for some apps, or there's a problem with the app you want to use.

Add an app to run automatically at startup in Windows 10. Select the Start button and scroll to find the app you want to run at startup. Right-click the app, select More, and then select Open file location. This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved.

Your PC isn't working well and you recently installed an app. Restore from a system restore point. You suspect your device has been infected. Use installation media to reinstall Windows 11. Select one of the recovery options below and follow the steps to try to get things working again.
