Set the region, device language, and spoken language for your products and services.

While you can drag content between your phone and your PC, not all apps will accept content you want to transfer. If an app doesn’t accept your content, you can try using phone screen to transfer it instead. You can’t drag and drop files between your mobile apps from your PC.

On the Display settings page, under Multiple displays, select Connect to a wireless display, then select Connect. Note: If you can't find the PC you want to project to, make sure it has Wi-Fi turned on and has the wireless display app installed and launched.

If you see a list of Android devices, choose the one you wish to pair with Phone Link to access your favorite apps, respond to texts, make calls, view photos, and more from your PC. Grant permissions on the Link to Windows app on your Android device. You are all set to use Phone Link.

To allow Microsoft Edge to share your location with websites: In Microsoft Edge, select Settings > Cookies and site permission > Location. Turn on Ask before accessing (recommended). Microsoft Edge will prompt you whenever a website wants to access your precise location.

You can link your social media account in one of two ways: Use the Xbox mobile app to scan the QR code. Select the Link option which will launch the Microsoft Edge app on Xbox. You can choose to link your Discord, Reddit, Steam, Twitch, or other social media account.

Codecs allow you to play different formats of audio and video files. Media Player supports a wide variety of codecs. Most are included out of the box; some additional codecs can be installed from the Microsoft Store.

If you open a page written in a different language than your preferred languages in settings, Microsoft Edge will automatically prompt you to translate it. The Translate icon appears in the address bar when you go to a web page that’s written in a foreign language.

Creating a shareable link makes it simple to share a document in an email, document, or IM. Select Share. Select Copy Link. Paste the link wherever you want. Note: If you need to change any permissions for the link, select Link settings.
