Important: You don't need to remove old security information unless there is an account security risk (e.g. someone else has access to your old mailbox).

In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint Tip: If you don't see the SharePoint app under All apps, use the Search box near the top of the window to search for SharePoint.

Tips: While signing in, select Yes at the "Stay signed in?" prompt if you want to go straight to your mailbox next time (not recommended for shared computers). Alternatively, check the "Don't show this again" box and select No to be prompted for your password each time.. If you can't sign in, or have forgotten your username or password, use our sign-in troubleshooter.

Important: This article is intended for users trying to use sign up for self-service password reset.This means that you’ll be able to reset your own work or school password (such as alain@contoso.com), without requiring your administrator’s help.

That verification method isn’t working right now: Sometimes the block may be tied to the verification method you are using.Try using another verification method connected to your account. For example, if you are using SMS to verify yourself and are hitting a block, try using an alternate email that is connected to the account to receive your authorization code.

Note: If you don't see the Additional security verification page, it's possible that your administrator has turned on the security info (preview) experience.If that's the case, you should follow the instructions in the Set up security info to use an authenticator app section. If that's not the case, you will need to contact your organization's Help Desk for assistance.

Notes: If your plan is to associate the new team site with a SharePoint hub site, you can streamline the process by first navigating to the hub site and clicking the Create site link in the top right corner there. The new team site will automatically be associated with that hub site. If you don't see the + Create site link, self-service site creation may be disabled in SharePoint.
