If your gamertag uses Latin-based characters, it will show the Latin alphabet equivalent (ö will appear as o, for example). If your gamertag uses non-Latin-based characters, your previous gamertag will continue to appear for older, classic experiences, such as some games and Xbox websites, while your new gamertag will appear on modern experiences, such as your Xbox console and the Xbox apps ...
