Open the Microsoft 365 application that you want to use an East Asian language in, and open a worksheet, document, or presentation. All of the East Asian language fonts and tools are available for use in the application.

Choose the Simplified Chinese language you want to use from the list, and then select Next. Review any language features you want to set up or install, and select Install . On the Language settings page, under Preferred languages , select Simplified Chinese, and then select Options .

Under the Windows 7 Language Packs category,select the desired language pack. Note If you install many additional language packs, the disk space and system performance are affected. In particular, disk space and system performance are affected during servicing operations, such as Service Pack installations.

Because Office service packs are cumulative, you do not have to install Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 before you install Service Pack 3. Service Pack 3 includes all fixes which were included in Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2.
