Here’s how to install the Media Feature Pack: On Windows 10 N: Select the Start button, then select Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional features > Add a feature. Find the Media Feature Pack in the list of available optional features. On Windows 11 N: Select the Start button, then select Settings > Apps > Optional features.

Turn on your TV or projector. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display. On your PC, make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. Tips: While signing in, select Yes at the "Stay signed in?" prompt if you want to go straight to your mailbox next time (not recommended for shared computers). Alternatively, check the "Don't show this again" box and select No to be prompted for your password each time.. When you're ready, here's how to set it up: Plug one end of the video cable into the port on the external screen. Make sure that your TV, monitor, or projector is turned on. Connect the other end of the cable to the video adapter. Connect the adapter to your Surface. Make sure you're plugging in the right part of the cable to the right input.

To find the link for the driver you need, select the dropdown list below and then scroll through it to find the type of Surface you have. After you've selected it, you'll see the available links for that type of Surface device model. Select the link for your model to get the latest firmware and drivers for sound, display, ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
