This article applies if you’ve recently made changes to your device hardware and are trying to upgrade to Windows 11. Hardware changes might affect your upgrade eligibility, though you’ll need to take a few steps to see your updated eligibility in Settings.

Important: The following steps apply only to devices currently running an activated copy of Windows 11 Home.If you’re not activated, we recommend you activate Windows 11 Home first. For more info, see Activate Windows.

Note: To upgrade to Windows 11, devices should meet the Windows 11 minimum system requirements.Some Windows 10 features aren't available in Windows 11. Notes: If you know your password, but just want to change it, go to account.microsoft.com Security tab, and select Change my password. If you know your username and password but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.

Next to the password you want to change, select More actions , and then select Edit.

To access your sign-in options, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.. Or just select this button: Go to Sign-in options. Change or manage your password or PIN. To change your password or PIN, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Select PIN (Windows Hello), and then select Change PIN.

On the General tab, under Home page, enter the URL of the site you want to set as a homepage.You can add more than one URL. Or, to add the site you're currently viewing, select Use current.If you add more than one URL, put each URL on its own line.
