Note To use many of the Xbox features within Game Bar, including Xbox Social features, you must have the Xbox app for Windows installed. To use Xbox Social features, sign in to Game Bar with your Microsoft account. Press the Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar, choose Settings > Accounts, select Sign in, and then follow the steps.

New features added for recording video. The new Record window has two screens: Record and Export.. When you select Record, the Record screen opens by default.. If you select Export in the top right of the Record screen, the Export screen opens.. You can switch between the Record and Export screens using the Record and Export buttons in the top bar of the window.

This setting can be set up differently based on when the device is plugged in or running on battery. When you change the setting, make sure the device is plugged in or unplugged—depending on which power state you want to change.
