Learn how to use Remote Desktop in Windows. On your Windows, Android, or iOS device: Open the Remote Desktop app (available for free from Microsoft Store, Google Play, and the Mac App Store), and add the name of the PC that you want to connect to (from Step 1). For Wi-Fi connection. Select Start > Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi and then select the Wi-Fi network you're connected to.

If you selected the Show icon on my profile check box but the icon still isn’t displaying, sign out of the device where you have the issue and then sign back in. On a PC, you may also be required to restart the app: Start Task Manager, choose the app that’s running (Game Bar or Xbox app), select End task, and then restart the app.

Missed activity emails. In the Missed activity emails section, you’re able to set the frequency of summary emails detailing your missed activity, or turn this feature off.. Chats and channels notifications. Notifications for chats and channels can be managed at a granular level, allowing you to customize your notifications to your personal work style.

Right-click the app, select More, and then select Open file location.This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved. If there isn't an option for Open file location, it means the app can't run at startup.

Notes: If you don't see Go to Microsoft Store on the Activation page, contact your organization's support person.. If you made a substantial hardware changes to your device (such as replacing the motherboard) and you have a valid product key, try to activate Windows by phone.
