In your app, select File > Open. On the left, under the Open heading, select the entry in the list. A scrollable list of SharePoint document libraries that you're connected to appears. Select the document library that contains the file you want to open. Select the file you want to open. You're ready to edit the file.

Troubleshoot file upload issues with OneDrive for Business
Move files out, sync, then move files back. Remove the file that isn’t syncing from your OneDrive folder (for example, place the file on your Desktop). Once you’ve confirmed that all remaining files are syncing, move the file or files back into your OneDrive folder and see if the file syncs.

When saving files to your personal OneDrive, certain characters are automatically renamed by Microsoft 365 apps, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
