We’re making some changes to Windows and Microsoft 365 that will impact Cortana users. Cortana voice assistance in Windows as a standalone app was retired in the spring of 2023.

Open Quick Assist. Select Help someone, then share the 6-digit code with the person you're helping.. After they've entered the code, wait for the person you're helping to allow the connection and share their screen. When you’re connected and helping someone, you can use different tools in Quick Assist if you like, such as a laser pointer, annotation, chat for typing messages, and more.

In the Security Center Properties dialog box, tap or click the Log On tab, and then tap or click Browse.. In the Enter the object name to select box, type your computer name.. Microsoft account help and support. Get help with signing in, locked or compromised accounts, linked accounts, closing, reopening, and updating your security info and account profile.

From notification center. Select the notification center in the taskbar.. Choose an amount of time for your focus session. Select Focus to start your session.. From Settings. Select Start > Settings > System > Focus > Start focus session.. From the Clock app. Select Start > All > Clock.. In the Clock app, select Start focus session .

Voice typing. In Windows 11, dictation has been updated and renamed as voice typing. Like dictation, voice typing uses online speech recognition technologies to power its speech-to-text transcription service. You no longer need to turn on the Online Speech recognition setting to use voice typing.

Notes: New files or folders created online or on another device appear as online-only to save maximum space. However, if you mark a folder as "Always keep on this device," new files in that folder download to your device as always available files.
