Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface, and, at the same time, press and release the power button. The Microsoft or Surface logo appears on your screen. Continue to hold the volume-up button. Release the button when the UEFI screen appears. You can also load the UEFI firmware settings menu through Windows.

Check that the page shows the correct Microsoft account, and then click Next. Read the list and click the checkboxes to acknowledge you’ve read each item. Choose to have the re-open window set to 30 or 60 days. In the Select a reason drop-down list, choose an explanation for why you're closing the account. Click Mark account for closure.

Outlook.com. You get 15 GB of free Outlook.com email storage which is separate from your Microsoft cloud storage. You have 5 GB of free cloud storage with your Microsoft account shared across your files and photos in OneDrive, attachments in Outlook.com and your Microsoft 365 apps. Microsoft 365 subscribers get 50 GB of space.

The files on your OneDrive are private until you share them. Keep in mind that when you share folders with Edit permissions, people you share with can add the shared folders to their own OneDrive.. This lets them keep the folder alongside their own folders and items, easily move items between folders, and more easily work on it offline.

Turn offline access on or off. Offline is turned on by default in new Outlook for Windows. To turn it off or on, do the following: Select Settings > General > Offline. Select the toggle Enable offline email, calendar, and people to turn offline access on or off. Select Save.

In the search box on the taskbar, type System Information, right-click System Information in the list of results, then select Run as administrator.
