Keeping Bing as your default search engine provides an enhanced search experience in the new Microsoft Edge , including direct links to Windows apps, relevant suggestions from your organization if you’re signed in with a work or school account, and instant answers to questions about Windows.However, you can change the default search engine to any site that uses OpenSearch technology.

Note: Changing a device's hardware to supported hardware doesn't necessarily mean the device is offered Windows 11 immediately.The upgrade will roll out over time to in-market devices based on intelligence models that consider hardware eligibility, reliability metrics, device age, and other factors.

To check activation status in Windows 11, select the Start button, and then select Settings > System and then select Activation .. Your activation status will be listed next to Activation..
