Use your Microsoft account to sign in to Microsoft services like Windows, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Skype, Outlook, and Xbox Live.

Both options allow essentially the same thing—you can access files on your local computer in File Explorer or Finder. However, adding OneDrive shortcuts allows content to be accessed on all devices, whereas sync is related to a specific device.

Select Add a new way to sign in or verify then choose how you would like to receive security codes.

Note: If you start to play a DVD or VCD in the Player Library, the Player automatically switches to Now Playing mode. The Blu-ray Disc format is not supported in Windows Media Player. Voice typing. In Windows 11, dictation has been updated and renamed as voice typing. Like dictation, voice typing uses online speech recognition technologies to power its speech-to-text transcription service. You no longer need to turn on the Online Speech recognition setting to use voice typing.
