Select the sun icon to change the message window background to white. Select the moon icon to change the message window background to black. When composing a message, you can turn dark mode on or off from the Message toolbar by selecting the dark mode icon to change the message window to white or black.

120Hz is only available for 1080p and 1440p. If you change your resolution to 4K UHD or 720p, the refresh rate will be set to 60Hz by default. If your console is set for 4K UHD and you change your refresh rate to 120Hz, your resolution will be downgraded to the highest resolution available for your display.

Regardless of your Dark Mode settings, your document will print with the light mode page color. Also, your Dark Mode settings do not impact your collaborators, and Word will respect individual view preferences.
