There are a few common scenarios in which Windows running on a PC might be discovered to be non-genuine during validation. Repairs. If your PC has been repaired, you might start to see messages on your desktop that Windows isn't genuine.

Setting up the modem and Internet connection. After you have all the equipment, you'll need to set up your modem and Internet connection. If your modem wasn't set up for you by your Internet service provider (ISP), follow the instructions that came with your modem to connect it to your PC and the Internet.

In Date & time, you can choose to let Windows 10 set your time and time zone automatically, or you can set them manually.. To set your time and time zone in Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Time & language > Date & time.. Open Date & time settings

Right click the network icon in the right side of the taskbar and select Diagnose network problems or open Get Help for Network & Internet

Tips: While signing in, select Yes at the "Stay signed in?" prompt if you want to go straight to your mailbox next time (not recommended for shared computers). Alternatively, check the "Don't show this again" box and select No to be prompted for your password each time.. Note: Some cameras won't appear in the Camera settings page.These include infrared (IR) cameras used for Windows Hello Face authentication, cameras using DirectShow technology (like many apps provided by DSLR or action camera manufacturers so their devices can be used as webcams), and proprietary cameras that aren't managed by Windows—such as industrial cameras and many networked cameras.
