There are some common two-step verification problems that seem to happen more frequently than any of us would like. We've put together this article to describe fixes for the most common problems.

If you can’t locate a lost file from your backup, then you can use Windows File Recovery, which is a command line app available from the Microsoft Store.Use this app to try to recover lost files that have been deleted from your local storage device (including internal drives, external drives, and USB devices) and can’t be restored from the Recycle Bin.

Enter your email address and select Connect.. If your screen looks different, enter your name, email address, and password, and select Next.

Manage invitations to share Microsoft 365. On the Microsoft account, Sharing page, under the section Other people, you can view and manage invitations you’ve created.You can check the status of an invitation, resend, or delete invitations. To adjust power and sleep settings in Windows 11, select Start > Settings > System > Power & battery > Screen and sleep. Screen: Select how long you want your device to wait before turning the screen off when you're not using your device.

On the Choose an account screen, click the Microsoft account button.; On the Add your Microsoft account screen, enter the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account.; On the Make it yours screen, you'll have the option to make this Microsoft account your primary account. (This makes sign-in, settings, and syncing happen automatically for all other Microsoft services.)

Note: The TEXT function converts numbers to text, which may make it difficult to reference in later calculations.It’s best to keep your original value in one cell, and then use the TEXT function in another cell. Then, if you need to build other formulas, always reference the original value and not the TEXT function result.

Turn on Find my device. When you set up a new device, you can decide whether to turn on or turn off the Find my device setting. If you turned it off during setup and now want to turn it on, make sure your Windows device is connected to the internet, has enough battery power so it can send its location, and that you're signed in to the device using your Microsoft account.

To edit a PDF, open it in Word. This works best with PDFs that are mostly text. PDFs of book chapters or something that looks like a manuscript from a copier won't be formatted well in Word.
