Resolution. To fix this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update. Additionally, see the technical information about the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. Note This update was first included in the MS16-104: Security update for Internet Explorer: September 13, 2016.

In Internet Explorer 11, select Tools > Internet options. On the General tab, under Home page, type the URL of the site you want to set as a home page. You can add more than one URL, or add the site you're currently viewing by selecting Use current. If you add more than one URL, put each URL on its own line. Select Apply > OK.

Follow the prompts to install or reinstall the desktop apps. For Microsoft 365 Family or Personal subscriptions: Select Install premium Microsoft 365 apps and follow the prompts to install or reinstall the desktop apps. On the Microsoft 365 subscription tab, select Manage. From here you can: Renew your subscription with a prepaid code or card.
