Important: Microsoft accounts, the Windows operating system, and other Microsoft products include passwords to help secure your information.This article provides some options that you can use to reset or recover your password if you forget it. Be aware that, if these options don’t work, Microsoft support can't help you retrieve or circumvent a lost or forgotten password.

Note for iPhone: If you are having trouble with your iPhone import, make sure your device is unlocked and you’ve accepted the permissions. Tip: If you installed the Microsoft 365 apps as part of a suite, such as Office Home and Student or Microsoft 365, search for the suite name.For stand-alone apps search by the app name, such as Project or Visio. In most cases you can't uninstall an individual app if it's included in your Microsoft 365 suite.

For keyboard shortcuts in which you press one key immediately followed by another key, the keys to press are separated by a comma (,). For example, for è you would press Ctrl + `, release and then type e.

If you think someone might have unauthorized access to your account, we can protect you by signing you out from all of your trusted devices. Within 24 hours, you will be signed out of browsers, apps and anywhere else your account is used to sign in, except an Xbox console.

Note: If you see the icon next to the On/Off toggle for an app, you can select it to see the registry location that contains the path for the app. Apps installed through Microsoft Store (.MSIX apps) don’t have these icons. If you select the icon for these apps, File Explorer opens and highlights the executable file.

OneDrive is built in to some versions of Windows and can't be uninstalled. But you can hide it and stop the sync process, so it stays hidden. To do this, turn off all the OneDrive settings and remove the OneDrive folder from File Explorer.
