Learn how to use Remote Desktop in Windows. On your Windows, Android, or iOS device: Open the Remote Desktop app (available for free from Microsoft Store, Google Play, and the Mac App Store), and add the name of the PC that you want to connect to (from Step 1). To increase security and performance, Windows 11 in S mode only runs apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, or if you have Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education and want to upgrade to Windows 11, you'll need to permanently switch out of S mode.

Using clipboard. When you copy content on your PC, it’s automatically copied to your clipboard for you to paste. You can paste multiple items from your clipboard history, and you can also pin the items you tend to use all the time and sync your clipboard history to the cloud.
