A Desktop Alert is a notification that appears on your desktop when you receive a new email message, a meeting request, or a task request. By default, Desktop Alerts are turned on.

At any time, you can change the time zone in Outlook so that it matches your current geographic location. Changing the time zone in Outlook is the same as changing it in the Windows Control Panel, and the change is reflected in the time displays in all other Microsoft Windows-based programs.

Choose one of the following types: A Left tab stop sets the left end of the text line. As you type, the text fills toward the right. A Center tab stop sets the position at the middle of the text line. As you type, the text centers on this position. A Right tab stop sets the right end of the text line. As you type, the text fills toward the left.

Enter a name for the database, select a location, and then select Create.. If needed, select Enable content in the yellow message bar when the database opens.

Ctrl+click the application you selected and click Move to Trash.

You can use RTF when you send messages inside an organization that uses Microsoft Exchange, but we recommend that you use the HTML format. In fact, when you send an RTF message to someone outside your organization, Outlook automatically converts it to HTML, so the message keeps its formatting and its attachments.

On the View tab, in the Master Views group, choose Slide Master.. The slide master is the largest slide image at the top of the slide thumbnail list, to the left of your slides. Associated slide layouts are positioned beneath the slide master.
