To make changes to the registry and export your changes to a .reg file, follow these steps: Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK. Locate and then click the subkey that holds the registry item or items that you want to change. Click File, and then click Export.

In Excel, you can format numbers in cells for things like currency, percentages, decimals, dates, phone numbers, or social security numbers. Select a cell or a cell range.
