You can personalize the color or accent color for window title bars and borders, the Start button, or the taskbar. The Dark mode has colors that are designed to work well in a low-lit environment. This option is for the Start menu, taskbar, and action center.

To upgrade to Windows 11, you need enough space on your hard drive for the installation to take place. To view how much hard drive space is available on your computer, select File Explorer on the taskbar (known as Windows Explorer in Windows 7) or press Windows logo key + E. Then select Computer or This PC and look under Hard Disk Drives or under Devices and drives.

Notes: To set an automatic reply for contacts outside your company, select Outside My Organization > Auto-reply to people outside my organization, type in a message, and select OK.. The OK button may be missing because of certain screen solution and scaling settings. To resolve this issue, you can adjust the screen resolution and scaling settings, or use a large monitor.

In Outlook, you have the option to: Snooze or dismiss events or tasks | Turn the notifications on or off | Add reminders to events | Add reminders to tasks | Troubleshoot notifications. Snooze or dismiss an event or task. With the reminders window, you can select to snooze calendar events and tasks, join a Teams meeting, or dismiss events and tasks.

In Windows 11, ensure that Camera access, Let apps access your camera, and the individual toggle for the Microsoft Store app you wish to use is turned on. If you do not see the app or website you're looking for in the list, it's likely a desktop app. Desktop apps cannot be individually toggled, but access for those apps can be controlled using Let desktop apps access your camera.

Enter your email, phone number, or Skype sign-in that you use for other services (Outlook, Excel, etc.), then select Next.

Note: In earlier versions of Outlook, IMAP accounts also used an Outlook Data File (.pst).In Outlook 2016 and Outlook for Microsoft 365, IMAP accounts use Offline Outlook Data Files (.ost). You can also use an Outlook Data File (.pst) to backup or export items from any type of email account.

If you already have a Microsoft account that you use to sign in to other Microsoft services (such as Windows, Outlook, OneDrive, Office, MSN, and Skype), use that account to create your Xbox account as well.

If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.. Outlook and Outlook.com may be able to detect your account's mailbox settings automatically, but for other non-Microsoft accounts, you may need to contact your email provider for their settings.
