The slide show opens in the Recording window (which looks similar to Presenter view), with buttons at the top left for starting, pausing, and stopping the recording.Click the round, red button (or press R on your keyboard) when you are ready to start the recording. A three-second countdown ensues, then the recording begins.

Notes: If your text box becomes filled with a color, you can remove the color in the Format Shape pane. Under Shape Options, select the Fill & Line tab , expand Fill, and select No fill.. If you want to remove the text box outline, right-click the text box, select Outline in the mini toolbar that appears, and choose No Outline.

Send in your Surface. If none of the previous solutions have resolved your issue, you can send in your Surface. If you decide to send it in, go to Device service and repair and sign in with your Microsoft account. If your device is already registered, select it and follow the instructions.
