Dictation lets you use speech-to-text to author content in Office with a microphone and reliable internet connection. Use your voice to quickly create documents, emails, notes, presentations, or even slide notes.

Choose Design to see tools for adding various elements to your equation. You can add or change the following elements to your equation. In the Symbols group, you’ll find math related symbols. To see all the symbols, click the More button. To see other sets of symbols, click the arrow in the upper right corner of the gallery.

If you don’t see some of the newer features in your app, you might not have received the update yet or your Microsoft 365 admin restricts Office updates until the features can tested with other programs and add-ins in your organization. In Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, you can force a recheck of the words and grammar that you previously skipped by doing the following: Open the document or item that you want to check.

There are two ways to allow an app through Windows Defender Firewall. Both of them are risky: Add an app to the list of allowed apps (less risky)

On the Query Design tab, in the Results group, click Run.. Verify that the query returned the records that you want to copy. If you need to add or remove fields from the query, switch back to Design view and add fields as described in the preceding step, or select the fields that you don't want and press DELETE to remove them from the query.

Just like the Word desktop program, Word for the web counts words while you type. If you don’t see the word count at the bottom of the window, make sure you’re in Editing view (click Edit Document > Edit in Word for the web).. Click the word count to switch it off and on.
