Receive photos, videos, or other kinds of files that you or a friend shares from another device, such as a phone, laptop, or tablet. On your PC, select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Learn how to pair.

If you think someone might have unauthorized access to your account, we can protect you by signing you out from all of your trusted devices. Within 24 hours, you will be signed out of browsers, apps and anywhere else your account is used to sign in, except an Xbox console.

Note for iPhone: If you are having trouble with your iPhone import, make sure your device is unlocked and you’ve accepted the permissions. Note for Android and other devices: If you’re using an Android phone or other device and import isn’t working, you might need to change your phone’s USB settings from Charging over USB to Transfer Files or Transfer Photos.

Creating a passkey. To create a passkey for your Microsoft account, follow these steps on the device for which you’d like to create a passkey:

If you’re an Insider and the current preview build isn’t working for you, select Start > Settings > System > Recovery .Next to Go back , select Go back.This won’t remove your personal files, but it’ll remove recently installed apps and drivers, and change settings back to their defaults.

Note: Some cameras won't appear in the Camera settings page.These include infrared (IR) cameras used for Windows Hello Face authentication, cameras using DirectShow technology (like many apps provided by DSLR or action camera manufacturers so their devices can be used as webcams), and proprietary cameras that aren't managed by Windows—such as industrial cameras and many networked cameras.

Note: The Automatically save passwords setting has been retired with Microsoft Edge version 124 and later. Instead, Edge will offer to save your passwords each time you enter new credentials in the Edge browser. All your previously autosaved passwords will continue to be available for a seamless login.

On the Choose an account screen, click the Microsoft account button.; On the Add your Microsoft account screen, enter the email address and password associated with your Microsoft account.; On the Make it yours screen, you'll have the option to make this Microsoft account your primary account. (This makes sign-in, settings, and syncing happen automatically for all other Microsoft services.)
