Important: Steps may be different between new and classic Outlook for Windows. To determine which version of Outlook you're using, look for File on the ribbon.If there's no File option, follow the steps under the New Outlook tab. If the File option appears, select the tab for Classic Outlook.

To clear the Microsoft Store cache, press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, then type wsreset.exe and select OK.A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and the Store will open automatically.

If you already have a Microsoft account that you use to sign in to other Microsoft services (such as Windows, Outlook, OneDrive, Office, MSN, and Skype), use that account to create your Xbox account as well.

Option 2: Remove Current Account and Re-Add . If you remove your current account from Thunderbird and then re-add it, the proper settings will be detected, and you will just need to sign in to be properly configured with Modern Authentication and the proper server settings.
