Try it! Keep track of everyone you communicate with by creating and editing contacts in Outlook for Windows. Once you’ve saved someone as a contact, you can type the first few letters of their name into an email, and Outlook for Windows will fill in their email address for you.

Both batteries in the Surface Book must be charged above 10 percent to detach the keyboard. If either of the batteries has less than a 10 percent charge, the green light on the Detach key won’t come on when you press it and you won’t be able to detach the keyboard.

Add your Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, Exchange-based email, or IMAP or POP email account to your Android phone or tablet using the built-in Android Email app.

In Outlook, you have the option to: Translate an email message | Translate part of a message | Change translation settings | Data & privacy. Translate an email message. When you receive an email message in another language, you'll see a prompt at the top of the message asking if you'd like Outlook to translate it into your preferred language.

If you choose the Do Not Forward option, there are two possibilities:. Microsoft Office attachments such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint files remain encrypted even after they’re downloaded. This means that if the recipient downloads the attachment and sends it to someone else, the person they forwarded it to won’t be able to open the attachment because they don’t have permission to open it.

There are now two versions of Outlook for Windows: new Outlook for Windows and classic Outlook for Windows. To determine if the Outlook for Windows version you're using is new Outlook or classic Outlook, check if there's a File tab on the ribbon. If File doesn't appear, you're using new Outlook.If you have a File tab, you're using classic Outlook.

Send in your Surface. If none of the previous solutions have resolved your issue, you can send in your Surface. If you decide to send it in, go to Device service and repair and sign in with your Microsoft account. If your device is already registered, select it and follow the instructions.

List view. A unique feature of the Tasks app how it displays tasks and information associated with them in rows and columns. This is called List view, and allows you to change many tasks at once, which wasn't as possible in either To Do or Planner before.
