On your home router. Try these things first to help you fix or narrow down the connection problem. Check the Ethernet cable and connection.Make sure the Ethernet cable is securely plugged into the Ethernet port on both your router and Windows 11 PC.

Setting up the modem and Internet connection. After you have all the equipment, you'll need to set up your modem and Internet connection. If your modem wasn't set up for you by your Internet service provider (ISP), follow the instructions that came with your modem to connect it to your PC and the Internet.

To change your screen resolution, use the drop-down menu under Display resolution.. Note: You should use the Recommended resolution. If you change the resolution, content might appear blurry or pixelated.

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. If a problem doesn't happen in safe mode, this means that default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing the issue.
