There are several different ways for family members and organizers to leave or be removed from a Microsoft family group depending on their role. Before leaving, family members and organizers should remove saved places and location alerts they would not like to remain in the group. Location alerts must be removed by the individual who set them for saved places to be deleted.

Voice typing. In Windows 11, dictation has been updated and renamed as voice typing. Like dictation, voice typing uses online speech recognition technologies to power its speech-to-text transcription service. You no longer need to turn on the Online Speech recognition setting to use voice typing.

At home: Make your primary Xbox (if you have more than one) your home Xbox, which gives anyone who signs in to the console with their profile the ability to use your Game Pass subscription.

To get someone's attention in a channel conversation or a chat, @mention them. Just type @ before their name and then select them from the menu that appears.. When an @mention recipient receives a notification, selecting it takes them directly to the point in the conversation where they were mentioned.

Identify guests on a team. To see if a team has any guests, just look below the heading where the team name shows up. You can tell if someone is a guest by looking anywhere their name appears—the word “Guest” appears after it.

Your files will remain intact. You will remain part of the Family group, but all your Microsoft 365 Family benefits will also expire. You will lose access to the fully functional desktop Office applications, but you will still be able to view and print your Office files.

The classic cold-call scam. The scammers call you and claim to be from the tech support team of Microsoft or another company. They offer to help solve your computer "problems".
