An upgrade moves your PC from a previous version of Windows—such as Windows 7 or Windows 8.1—to Windows 10. An upgrade can take place on your existing device, though Microsoft recommends using Windows 10 on a new PC to take advantage of the latest features and security improvements.

The classic cold-call scam. The scammers call you and claim to be from the tech support team of Microsoft or another company. They offer to help solve your computer "problems".

There are some common two-step verification problems that seem to happen more frequently than any of us would like. We've put together this article to describe fixes for the most common problems.

Important: You don't need to remove old security information unless there is an account security risk (e.g. someone else has access to your old mailbox).

Missed activity emails. In the Missed activity emails section, you’re able to set the frequency of summary emails detailing your missed activity, or turn this feature off.. Chats and channels notifications. Notifications for chats and channels can be managed at a granular level, allowing you to customize your notifications to your personal work style.

Update RECENT GAMES: Once you have used the shortcut and launched Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) at least once, it will appear in the RECENT GAMES section (again, within the desktop Steam client) with a blank background.Just as before, right-click, select Manage > Set custom artwork, navigate to your artwork and select Xbox_Cloud_Gaming_Capsule.jpg.

Notes: You can either use an email address you own as a Microsoft account, or create a new address by choosing "Get a new email address" or "Use your email instead" when you sign up.

First time, infrequent senders, or senders marked [External] - While it's not unusual to receive an email or Teams message from someone for the first time, especially if they are outside your organization, this can be a sign of phishing.Slow down and take extra care at these times.
