Overview of Spreadsheet Compare - Microsoft Support
Use Spreadsheet Compare to compare two workbooks to see the differences between them, line by line. You can see how values, formulas, and formatting differ – line by line, and cell by cell. Spreadsheet Compare can detect and highlight just the type of differences you specify.

Compare two versions of a workbook by using Spreadsheet Compare
Open Spreadsheet Compare. In the lower-left pane, choose the options you want included in the workbook comparison, such as formulas, cell formatting, or macros. Or, just Select All. On the Home tab, choose Compare Files. In the Compare Files dialog box, in the Compare row, browse to the earlier version of your workbook.

Click Home > Compare Files. The Compare Files dialog box appears. Click the blue folder icon next to the Compare box to browse to the location of the earlier version of your workbook. In addition to files saved on your computer or on a network, you can enter a web address to a site where your workbooks are saved.

Compare workbooks using Spreadsheet Inquire - Microsoft Support
The Compare Files command lets you see the differences, cell by cell, between two workbooks. You need to have two workbooks open in Excel to run this command. Results are color coded by the kind of content, such as entered values, formulas, named ranges, and formats. There's even a window that can show VBA code changes line by line.

Browse to find the database that is "changed" (or the most recent version) by clicking the button to the right of the To box. Under Report Options, choose the database objects or items ( Tables, Queries, Macros, Modules, Reports, Forms, or Pages) you want compared by checking the boxes next to them.
